As if the steamy
promo pics did not tip you off to this fact, Nicki Minaj's new "High
School" video does not actually take place in high school — unless
said high school also has a hot tub on premises.
Instead, it's set on the sprawling compound of a drug lord, with Nicki cast
in role of his girlfriend. She spends her days lounging poolside, until one day,
when Lil Wayne and Birdman arrive to conduct a transaction with "El Jefe," and
she decides it's time to exact some small manner of revenge: by breaking into
his safe, and fleeing with Weezy on board a helicopter under the cover of
darkness (El Jefe must be a heavy sleeper).
That's the plot, as it were, though what happens in "High School" is
largely inconsequential: this is a video that looks lush, and with its
"Scarface-ian" scope, it seems custom made for the big screen. Nicki doesn't
disappoint in the wardrobe department, either, no doubt thrilling her Barbz and
setting pulses pounding in a series of barely-there bathing suits and outfits.
And then, there's her sex scene with Wayne, which is certainly steamy,
and is guaranteed to be the thing most of her fans will be talking about for the
foreseeable future ... a bit of slash fiction played out in music video form.
During a MTV Interview Nicki Minaj the Young Money rapper opened up about those sexy
takes, especially one in particular where the pair come close to sharing a
passionate kiss. "If we actually locked lips, don't you think we would have put it in the video?"
Minaj joked. "Wayne said we had to kiss for the video. He was like, one thing
that's going to sell it is if we really kiss. I'm like, ehh."
"He refused to touch me, he's so respectful, he refused to touch me, and then I
was like, 'Wayne,' I was like, 'You could do this.' But he was acting scared,
like, 'Yo, Nick, this is my dream. I'm gonna be a man after this video.' He was
just being crazy," Minaj said. "But if I didn't tell him 'Yes, you can do this'
or 'touch this,' he refused to do it, like he's a southern gentlemen, which
people don't realize."

There's no telling where Tupac
Shakur's career would be had he not been gunned down back in 1996. The
passionate thug poet was taken at his peak, but Tyga is looking to breathe life into
the rap icon's lyrics with "Hit 'Em
Up"
The song, which will appear on Tyga's upcoming album Hotel California finds T-Raww rhyming alongside Jadakiss over an eerie DJ
Mustard-produced thump track, where things get really interesting on the final
verse. Rather than sample from a single 'Pac verse, Tyga pulled lyrics from
"Komradz," "Thug 4 Life" and "Thugs Get Lonely Too," selecting choice lines and
then adding his own to create an effect that sounds as if the fallen rap legend
is actually rhyming back and forth with the self-proclaimed Last King.
When Tyga first revealed his Hotel California track list, many
speculated on whether the Young Money spitter had attempted to remake Tupac's
inflammatory 1996 dis track, which took aim at the Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy.
But this new version of "Hit 'Em Up" is no remake — plus it features New York
rap favorite Jadakiss.
"I sent it to Jadakiss, and after that I was done with the song, and then I
had came across some 'Pac vocals from a friend," Tyga told us from the set of
his "Molly"
video in Los Angeles last month. "I was like, 'Man, this would be dope,' but I
didn't really know how to use it properly."
For the song's hook, Tyga interpolated the chorus from C-Murder's southern
classic "Down for My N's" and for the final verse opted to use parts of the 'Pac
vocals at strategic points, in tandem with his own rhymes, creating one cohesive
verse featuring both rappers. "When people hear it, they're gonna think it's
real clever and they're gonna really respect it," he said.
Chris Brown leaps into action in the cinematic video for “Fine China,” the first single off his upcoming albumX. Chris showcases his amazing dance moves and reminds us just how incredibly talented he is in his new ‘Fine China’ one take dance performance. Keep reading to see the video!
Chris Brown is reminding his fans of how talented and special he is by releasing his “Fine China” one take dance video, where the 23-year-old showcases his spectacular dance moves, reminiscent of the late great Michael Jackson.
In the video, which is approximately three-and-a-half-minutes in length, Chris, 23, shows us he’s still got the moves that he had when he burst onto the music scene in 2004.
"I wanted to go with a film director to set the mood and bring that artistic side to it. I’m not one who always loves to stand in front of the camera with flashy cars and big booty girls all the time,” he told Billboard. “In this video, you’ll see me taking care of the girl, doing gentlemanly things—showing another side of me. I know my female audience sees it. But the naysayers might say, ‘No, that’s not him."
Chris told Angie Martinez that he plans to release 10 music videos by the time his album drops in July or August.

Drake pays a visit with his crew to his hometown in the music video for "5AM In Toronto", a buzz single and a song featured on the rapper's upcoming third studio album "Nothing Was The Same" which is expected to drop this summer via Cash Money Records.
In the MV for the dope "5AM In Toronto", Drizzy and his OVO crew take over Beach Blast in Toronto, an indoor beach facility, where the "Started from the Bottom" star watches girls in bikini play a match of volleyball while sipping a drink and smoking a blunt.
Sporting a Cash Money Millionaires “Welcome to the Family” sweater, Drizzy and his OVO crew take in the seductive scene while the ladies make their way over to his table.
“That might be like my first viral video. Doing it for the city this time around. Well every time but this time especially,” he tweeted.
Lil Wayne gives MTV the green light to premiere his latest visual for ‘Rich As Fuck’. The T-Minus produced cut features a guest appearance by 2 Chainz. The visual is directed by Parris. This appears on Weezy’s upcoming album ‘I Am Not A Human Being II’, which will be in stores on March 26th.
