NEW MUSIC: JAY-Z FT. SWIZZ BEATZ - 'OPEN LETTER'

It's not everyday you get to wake up to a new record from Jay-Z. Especially one that features production from Swizz Beatz and Timbaland. Today is not everyday though as Shawn Carter opens up about Cuba, ownership of the Brooklyn Nets, and more on this new record titled 'Open Letter'. Recorded last night as well.

Pretty simple beat but that's all that was needed for Jay to get his point across. Standout lines for me: "Would've brought the nets to Brooklyn for free. Except I made millions off you fucking dweeb. I still own the building. I'm still keeping my seats. Y'all buy that bullshit y'all better keep y'all receipts. Obama said "chill you gon' get me impeached. You don't need this shit anyway. Chill with me on the beach". There goes all the rumors about him abandoning the Nets.

2012 was a very quiet year for Jay-Z music wise with only an occasional feature here and there. If this record indicates anything, it's that 2013 will be quite the opposite musically compared to last year. New solo album coming later this year.

Ray J: "I Hit It First is not about Kim Kardashian" - Listen to Ray J's New Single "I Hit It First"

Ray J claims, “I Hit it First,” was not about Kim Kardashian. Saying, “I Hit It First,” isn’t about Kim K is like saying Tupac’s, “Hit Em Up,” is not about Biggie.

Ray J has apparently claimed that his new song 'I Hit It First' is not about Kim Kardashian.

Ray J, who appeared in the reality star's legendary sex tape Kim Kardashian: Superstar, recently sparked speculation that the track refers to her as the artwork appears to be a pixellated image of Kardashian in a bikini.

Meanwhile, the song's lyrics appear to refer to Kardashian, with one line saying: "She might move on to rappers and ball players, but we all know I hit it first" - an apparent shout out to her current partner Kanye West and ex-husband Kris Humphries.

Elsewhere, Ray J says: "I hit it north, and her ass goin' south, but now baby chose to go west" and later sings: "If you were to come back to me, girl, we'll make another movie."

However, Ray J has now told radio station Hot 97 that some people are reading too much into the song.

Ray J just released the name of his new single, “I Hit It First,” due out April 9, and the cover art is a blurred out picture of Kim! The lyrics are totally shocking, referring to their infamous sex tape, and he calls out Kanye too!

 

Kanye West is going to be so angry! Kim Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend Ray J just took to Twitter and Instagram to tell his fans that his new single is called “I Hit It First.” It’s all about how he had sex with Kim long before Kanye. Don’t forget they starred in the infamous sex tape Super Star, which was leaked in 2007.

 

The new single "I Hit It First," which seems to be about his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian who is the ex-girlfriend of NFL baller Reggie Bush, soon-to-be ex-wife of NBA player Kris Humphries, and now Kanye West's baby mama to-be.

Guess Ray J wants to make it clear that he was the first to discover KiKi's precious Armenian cakes before anyone else in his new song "I Hit It First."

Copying Kanye West's blurred artwork on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Ray J did the same with an image of a bikini-clad Kim Kardashian.

The lyrics of "I Hit It First" are rumored to go a little something like this:

"Hit it from north,brought her head down south,now that I'm finished,she's on to Mr West . . ."
