Lil Wayne is OK and recovering after hospitalized suffering from Seizure

 

The multiplatinum rapper Lil Wayne was hospitalized on friday after suffered a seizure and "is recovering,". According to his camp and his official Twitter account — he’s OK. He tweeted to his fans from his official account on Friday night: “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”

Tweeted by Mack Maine, the president of Lil Wayne's Young Money label,"Dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe ... that's false!!"  around 5:20 p.m. (8:20 p.m. ET) Friday.

Drake appeared at the Los Angeles hospital, where Lil Wayne is being treated, with an entourage of Wayne's friends.

The 30-year-old New Orleans native, whose given name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is one of the biggest stars of not only his genre but in all music. He’s due to release his 10th album, “I Am Not a Human Being,” on March 26.
